NOTIFICATION TO BUSINESS CUSTOMERS ABOUT THE UNLAWFUL INTERNET GAMBLING ENFORCEMENT ACT OF 2006.

The Department of the Treasury and the Federal Reserve Board implemented the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA). This Act "prohibits any person engaged in the business of betting or wagering from knowingly accepting payments in connection with the participation of another person in unlawful Internet gambling." Pacific City Bank will not permit any restricted transaction(s) to or from any Unlawful Internet Gambling Site(s). Restricted transactions generally include, but are not limited to following, which may include, credit, electronic fund transfers, checks, or drafts which are knowingly accepted by gambling businesses in connection with the participation by others in unlawful internet gambling.
